Attorney Profiles

Tabitha R. Brown is the firm's founder. She is a keen strategist, executive, business owner, attorney and leader. She has the distinction of having a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law.

Prior to starting her own law practice, Attorney Brown had over a decade of successful professional experience providing strategic planning, communications, operations and business development services for a diverse group of individuals, government agencies, non-profit organizations, small businesses and global companies.

Attorney Brown has received numerous honors and awards for both herself and her clients. In the community Attorney Brown provides pro bono foreclosure prevention assistance through the Maryland Foreclosure Prevention Project and is the founder of HOPEJUSTICE (www.hopejustice.com), an online resource for women and young people focused on Health, Opportunities in business, Pursuing justice and Education.

Attorney Brown is also a Director with the American Psychological Association (APA), the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology worldwide with 152,000 members and 500 staff. She is responsible for complex and diverse membership development programs and initiatives.

Attorney Brown is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. She is admitted to the Maryland bar, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the bar of the United States Supreme Court.

Attorney Brown resides in Upper Marlboro, Maryland with her husband and their four children.
